Long Harbour... August 6-10 2021

TWELVE THOUSAND POUNDS!  That’s how much plastic Shawn and Andrew estimate they removed this week in Long Harbour.  1400 feet of rope, 12 bags of small plastic garbage (things like shotgun casings, broken bits of bleach bottles, tampon applicators), 2 orange tarpaulins, some plastic snow fence type material, 8 fish pans full of broken bleach bottles, 13 buckets, fish tub ocver, jerry can, 4 tires, a tent, a green tarp, a rubber orange buoy, 10 pc of styrofoam, 8 ice cream tubs, one fish pan of old rope, some black tarp material, 2 styrofoam floats,  some drag line, and 20 pieces of broken fish pans.  Our coolest fine? A steel buoy – from the UK!
